Home now from a very tiring weekend. We got a bye in the final round so we watched a couple of games for a bit and then, confident that we had won nothing, we headed home. Generally it's been a good weekend. A couple of opponents could have been better and some of the missions didn't seem totally balanced but all in all it's been fun. I need a sit down and a couple of drinks now and then I'll try and do a few posts throughout the week.
Unlucky fellas. Glad to hear you enjoyed taking part though. Looking forward to some more in depth battle report maybe?
ReplyDeleteThe plan is to put up some more in depth stuff (and pics) throughout the week. I can't promise it will all be 100% accurate though as I'm already struggling to remember all the details. 7 games in 2 days is a bit much for my brain to take in!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry lads, we'll have some proper 1750 prep for the Caledonian open and team Claws and fists shall be at the top.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the line of sight like?
Nice to meet you guys yesterday. Shame we never got to play u guys. We ended up 3rd! Really chuffed! We actually beat the guys who came 2nd when we played them. They gave the sportsman award to those guys we played last cos they didn't score any points!
ReplyDelete3rd? Nice one! Looks like we should have stuck with Mephiston...
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. I played Andy in round 3 of the singles on Saturday and I was helping run the doubles.
ReplyDeleteSeven games and how many pints in two days? :P
